Esperanza is a Spanish feminine given name, meaning "hope" or "expectation".
She released the acclaimed albums Junjo, Esperanza and Chamber Music Society before winning a Grammy in 2011 for Best New Artist, creating history.

ARTIST BIO Jennylynd James discovered a hidden talent for drawing and painting while working as an entrepreneur in the Republic of Ireland. Her artsy flair in running a food business took an interesting turn when in an amateur art class the artist instructor found she excelled in portraiture and sketching.
